Hello everyone,
Just pulled my sending unit out of my truck to change the fuel pump.
Something odd.. There are \\"blisters\\" of sorts, on the pick up tubes. About 3 in a row, the size of pencil erasers. Hard as steel, and are Crome In color. There is also one on the bracket that holds the tubes at the interior wiring connector.
They are coated with a black, carbon looking soot, that comes off easily with a wire brush.
It is an original set of tubes (the pump has been replaced) and the fuel level sending unit is original as well. Anyone have a clue?
Thanks

I will have to set up an album from my home desk top.
About impossible with a smart phone. Great site, but with all the add on's it's not very phone friendly.
Thanks
