My 1990 F150 has dual tanks. When turned on the fuel pump whines for a while (30 seconds to 5 minutes) before it will turn over. I know and have been told this means the fuel pump is kaput. Does anyone know how difficult it is to drop the tanks and change the fuel pump? I live in a fairly tight subdivision and would have to do it in my driveway. Anything major or messy is out of the question. Thanks.

pull the bed or at least prop it up after you take the bolts out and unplug the tail lights.
