Hey Everyone. I have a 2003 CVPI. Runs great. The other day I noticed the airbag light was on. So when I started the car up it blinks once then like 2 or 3 times then another 3 or 4 times, then it just stays on for the rest of the duration until I turn car off. What could be the problem?

Figure out what the code is, it will repeat the code a few times when you start up then light up solid. When the light is on the airbag system is compromised.

Hello, I was reading this thread, trying to figure out my own dilema. I had pulled out some fuses to inspect them and now my airbag light comes on and stays on. I was also hearing a chiming noise, but then replaced the airbag fuse and now no chime, and the light is in steady, it does no blink. How do you check the codes? I asked my local advance auto parts and they said my car was too old, it is a 93.
