Hello all, long time stalker, first time poster.
I'm in a position to purchase a 2001 CVPI that's in pretty good shape for her age. There are a few things that I need to address, and I had a few quick questions.
This CVPI has the typical rust over the wheel well, so I want to replace the fenders. Can I replace them with fenders for a 2003 model year? For some reason on a few sites replacement fenders listed for a 2003 are 40-50 dollars cheaper than the 2001 fenders. Got me as to why.
Second, can I replace the 16" wheels with the 17" wheels from later models, or is there an offset issue?
Thanks in advance! |

You can use the front fenders from any 1992-2011 Crown Victoria, 2003-2010 Grand Marquis or the Marauder.
To use the 17" wheels from anything 2003-2011 you will need spacers, HUBCENTRIC 1.5" spacers front and rear(you can use 2" spacers on the rear to bring the wheels more flush with the fender). |
