Posted:5/8/2006 10:30 I am in the process of replacing the drivetrain in my 1989. I have the 350 motor and the rear end out of a 87 9C1 but still need to find a tranny to replace the tired 700R4 currently in the car. Is there a difference between the 2WD and 4WD 700R4's? I also thought about running a non overdrive TH350, but I am not sure that it will bolt up to the existing crossmember. Any help/wisdom would be appreciated. Thanks
