Greetings all good to be part of this website.

My 1999 Crown Vic has a starting issue and of course my fault. I had a loose connection on the main wire leading into the main fuse box under hood due to stripped nut. I let it go for awhile before the arcing got bad enough that killed the engine.

I finally fixed the loose connection and the car will not start. it cranks over but no start. Checked fuses and all good, checked fuel pump relay (not sure good or not, ordering new one), checked fuel pump operation by jumping relay ports and works good, sprayed starter fluid into intake and car starts momentarily.

I started removing the front bumper to get to wiring harness to check burnt out wires but not finished (big job).

When I hook up my engine diagnose tool I get error.

How can I get my Crown Vic running again? I'm feeling hopeless.

Anyone out there able to help out?

1999 CV cranks but won't start.
All fuses and relays good.
Fuel pump does not come on when key is turned on, but works if jumped through relay.
Everything works: lights, radio, fan, ect.
***When key is turned to start the Engine light does not come on****
***When I hook up an OB tester it reads ERROR***
Inspected the wiring harness under bumper and looks good.
Started when I sprayed starting fluid into intake.
