I bought this truck on ebay. Just a grocery getter for my wife. Now I am in the process of near complete restoration. This truck like all centurion conversions has the normal roof rot due to the crude craftsmanship on the fabrication. When I ground all the bondo out of the roof and stripped out the interior I was amazed that something with a price tag new as these trucks had, was built so poorly. I guess if you just cover it with bondo and some carpet you can pretend it is good quality. So needless to say I have my work cut out for me. This truck I bought is in near rust free condition except for the parts modified in the conversion. The cure for this problem is not a difficult task just a little time consuming. I cut the roof off another bronco and reconstructed the roof. I welded it solid instead of just tack welds and bondo. When I get to the reassembly I will also replace the rear interior with real ford bronco parts that will match the front. I don't like two tone carpet and interior panels. I am also lifting the body 4 inches and will run 38"mudders. My kids think it is the coolest thing and can't wait for me to get it finished so mom can take them to school. Good thing school and shopping is close to home gas will bankrupt us. I will post some pics soon.
