This is actually an F150 diagram, so it doesn't have the vacuum switch that some car columns have, but otherwise, it's identical. To align the shifter, shift lever, & shift indicator, read this caption:

The bright yellow wire is from the clock spring. Bright yellow wiring covers are an industry standard to indicate SRS (airbag) wiring.

First, remove the lock cylinder by turning the key to RUN, then pressing the release button through the access hole in the lower shroud. Then pull the lock cylinder out.

The older oil pressure sender uses the same thread as the later oil pressure switch, so swapping is easy. There's just enough room for it to fit. See this pic:
