I have a 2009 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor and lately its been having transmission issues. Its not the fluid, Ive already checked that. It doesnt always go into first gear after I shift from reverse into drive, and when it downshifts and I accelerate, it doesnt go back into gear. Is the transmission going out?

I think you are not going out transmission. But there is a problem on your gear, you try to change your gear

Sounds like something I ran into.

Try this Youtube video and see if it will help you out.

Appears it won't link.
Go to Youtube and type in

"Fix a loose column shifter on Ford vehicles"

It's an easy fix and applies to most Ford products.

That should bring it up.
