I am working on disabling body parts of a 1996 Lincoln Town Car. I need to help. I do not know what tool is needed to take off the following screw or how to take off the screw. I tested out a salvage yard by using torx and all I did was strip the screw. I can’t strip these screws. Please offer directions of which tool I need or how to take them off. Those rocker panel pieces are held on by plastic clips, the "screw" you are looking at is a rivet.
It may be a plastic rivet(like used to hold the plate holder to the front bumper cover) and you just have to cut/drill it out.
