Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with an appropriate law enforcement investigation, current judicial proceeding, a court order, or legal process served on our website, or as required by law.

1.) What personally identifiable information of yours or third party personally identifiable information that is collected from you through the website.

SuperMotors collects a person's name, city, state, country, and e-mail address. We also collect credit card information in order for you to purchase this service. This information is requested during registration and is used to deliver services the user has requested. All other information is optional and is used to create your member profile for other members and users of your community to know more about you, and to better target your interests.

2.) What are cookies and how are they used?

A "cookie" identifies your computer to our servers when you visit our site, saving your login information so you don't have to reenter it each time you visit. SuperMotors uses cookies to assist the user/member in changing and/or editing their information that is already stored in our database. The cookie is used to hold the login status of the user as they edit their information. The benefit of the cookie is that it lets you, the user/member change and/or edit your information online without having to contact a SuperMotors representative. If you choose not to accept the cookie then you, the user/member will not be able to administer your account information. If you'd prefer to refuse cookies, turn them off using your browser. It's not required to have cookies turned on in order to use our website.

3.) The organization collecting the information.

When you are on SuperMotors and are asked for personal information by SuperMotors, you are sharing that information with SuperMotors only. Please be aware that SuperMotors' advertisers or websites that have links on our site may collect personally identifiable information about you on their sites. The information practices of those websites are not covered by this privacy policy. In addition, users and other members may be able to access certain information that you provide them (i.e. your e-mail address and content that you post on sites that we link to as well as when you post in forums and registry entries of our webiste). SuperMotors is not in a position to monitor or control any particular user's or community member's use of that content.

4.) How the information is used.

SuperMotors' primary goal in collecting personal information is to provide you, the community member, with a potentially fulfilling experience. The more information a user supplies the better the potential for maximum benefits. SuperMotors displays targeted advertisements based on personal information and vehicle registry entries. SuperMotors does not provide personal information to the advertiser when you interact with or view a targeted ad.

5.) Log Files

Like most standard website servers we use log files. This includes IP (internet protocol) addresses, browser type, ISP (interet service provider), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information. We use a tracking utility called The Odometer, developed by SuperMotors staff, to analyze user movement.

6.) E-mail This

If a user elects to use our referral service for informing a friend about our site, we ask them for the friend's name and e-mail address. SuperMotors will automatically send the friend a one-time e-mail inviting them to visit the site. This information is automatically discarded once SuperMotors sends the e-mail to the friend.

7.) With whom the information may be shared

Upon making any purchases, SuperMotors discloses your information to a third party credit authorization company but they do not use your information for any secondary purposes. Users/members can opt to have their real name or username displayed publicly in their account preferences (known as "display name"). SuperMotors displays every users's display name, city, state, and country to all visitors of the site. Otherwise, we only pass over your personal information to club owners and administrators when they require that you disclose your name, location, and e-mail address to join their club.

8.) What choices are available to you regarding collection, use and distribution of your information?

SuperMotors, from time to time, sends e-mail regarding our services if you indiciated upon registration or later that you are interested in receiving offers or information from SuperMotors. If you do not wish to receive these mailings, simply tell us when you give us your personal information by un-checking the "keep me informed" box or indicate that you no longer wish to receive such offers and mailings.

9.) What security procedures are in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of the information?

Your account information is password protected so that only you have access to your personal information. We encourage you to not divulge your password to anyone. Remember to log off your computer or close your browser window when you have finished your work to ensure that all others cannot access your personal information and correspondence.

10.) How can you correct any inaccuracies in the information.

You may change any or all of your information by editing your member profile after signing in. Go to the "My Garage" area of the site to make changes. If you have forgotten your password, you may request a new password. For all other problems singing in, please contact support. You can also chose to have your member profile disabled or eliminated entirely by contacting support.

11.) Notification of changes

If we are going to use your personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify you via e-mail. You will have a choice as to whether or not we use your information in this different manner. However, if you have opted out of all communication with the site, or deleted/deactiviated your account, then you will not be contacted. Nor will your personal information be used in this new manner. In addition, if we make any material changes in our privacy practices that do not affect user information already stored in our database, we will post a prominent notice on our website notifying users of the change. In some cases where we post a notice we will also e-mail users, who have opted to receive communications from us, notifying them of the changes in our privacy practices. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.

Message Forum Privacy Policy

In order to post a message to SuperMotors message forums, you must be a registered SuperMotors user.

1.) INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE PRACTICES

  • When you post a message, your display name or username (depending on your chosen account settings) that you are posting under is visible to other users.
  • When you post a message on SuperMotors message forums or any club message forums, you have the ability to post a message which may include personally identifiable information about yourself on a message board.
  • If you post personal information online that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return.

2.) PRACTICES REGARDING YOUR ABILITY TO UPDATE OR DELETE INFORMATION

  • You are given the option of previewing your message by clicking the "Preview" checkbox and clicking the "Submit" button. This allows you to make any necessary changes before posting your message.
  • You are allowed to edit your own message once it is posted. If you wish to delete your own post, please edit it and remove the contents on your own or contact the appropriate forum moderator for post deletion.
  • Users may quote your post in messages in subsequent replies to your post.

  • When you use SuperMotors message forums, you are subject to the SuperMotors Terms of Service.

Registry Entry Privacy Policy

SuperMotors registry entries gives you an easy way to put photos, sounds, and videos, specifications, maintenance and modification logs online and share them with friends, family, and other community members. In order to use SuperMotors registry entry services, you must be a registered SuperMotors user.

1.) INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE PRACTICES

  • All registry entries are public for anyone to access.
  • Media files posted in registry entries are stored on your behalf by SuperMotors. SuperMotors reserves the right to use information stored in your registry entry for marketing purposes.

2.) PRACTICES REGARDING YOUR ABILITY TO UPDATE OR DELETE INFORMATION

  • You can delete individual photos, album sections, or entire registry entries that you have on SuperMotors by selecting the photos, albums, or registry entries that you wish to delete, then clicking the appropriate delete button.

3.) OTHER

  • When you use the SuperMotors registry services, you are subject to the SuperMotors Terms of Service.

E-mail Privacy Policy

SuperMotors e-mail is a paid web-based e-mail service. In order to use SuperMotors e-mail, you must be purchase a yearly subscription.

1.) INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE PRACTICES

  • SuperMotors practice is to not use addressing information or the content of messages stored in your SuperMotors e-mail account for marketing purposes.
  • Additional mailbox storage, POP/forwarding and other premium services are available by request.

2.) INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE PRACTICES

  • SuperMOtors e-mail includes IP addresses in outgoing mail message headers, as specified by standard Internet protocol.

3.) OTHER

  • When you use SuperMotors e-mail, you are subject to the SuperMotors Terms of Service.

Member Profile Privacy Policy

A SuperMotors profile is a web page where you can post information about yourself that is available to the public.

1.) INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE PRACTICES

  • SuperMotors member profiles gives you the ability to post additional information about yourself including hobbies and real name. This information is optional and all of the information that you choose to enter will be available for anyone to see.
  • When you register with SuperMotors, you automatically create a SuperMotors member profile page for each SuperMotors account that you establish.
  • At a minimum, your profile contains your SuperMotors username, city, state, and country, club memberships, last 5 posts in each club in which you are a member, registry entries, last 5 media files posted in each registry entry, account creation date, and if applicable, a "subscriber since" date (indicating how long you've been a paying subscriber of SuperMotors).

2.) INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE PRACTICES

  • Information in your SuperMotors profile is publicly available.
  • If you post personal information online that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return.

3.) OTHER

  • When you use SuperMotors member profiles, you are subject to the SuperMotors Terms of Service.
