Every year, for the last few years we have anxiously awaited the release of each of the big three's newest and most powerful diesel light-trucks (Chevy, Ford and Dodge). As the technology of diesel engines improve so does its power and efficiency. In late 2005, Chevrolet introduced it's most powerful diesel to date: the LBZ 6.6 Duramax. Producing 360 horsepower and 650 ft-lb. of torque with a reduced compression ratio was no doubt a tricky task for the diesel brains at GM, but after some seat time in the '06 Duramax, we're pleased to say that the improvements are more than noticeable.
Since the introduction of the Suzuki LTZ 400, enthusiasts have begun to think differently about the 400cc ATV market. They've realized that with a few quick bolt-ons they can have neck snapping power and the ultra-light weight of a sport quad without insane engine mods or a lean wallet. By combining K&N's High-Flow Air Filter/PowerLid combo, Muzzy's Titanium exhaust system and a little jet work on the dyno, we woke up our Z400 to the tune of 33 rear-wheel horsepower, a whopping 11% increase in horsepower over stock.

Nanotechnology, the cutting-edge science of the small, has been harnessed by Eagle One engineers for a line of car appearance products that provide easier application, better surface penetration, deeper high-gloss shine and longer-lasting results. A do-it-yourselfer couldn't ask for more. Imagine a particle that is 1/75,000th the thickness of a human hair and you can begin to understand the significance of nanotechnology. With smaller particles, the new line of Eagle One products penetrate and protect where conventional products do not, conceal hairline scratches and swirl marks, and eliminate messy white residue.
Jeff's Bronco Graveyard is currently working in conjunction with Ted Nugent on his 1974 Bronco rebuild. Ted would like his Bronco Beast to be absolutely reliable and functional as a basic plow / work / hunting / farm-ranch truck. It is abused daily and finally needs an overhaul. Ted demands that all parts and accessories should be geared towards Heavy Duty Performance! He also wants the truck to be built so he would feel comfortable to take the truck on long hunts away from home but yet be able to plow some of the deepest snow Michigan has ever seen!
Hundreds of HUMMER owners trekked out to South Bend, Indiana last week for the HUMMER Club's "HUMMER Homecoming 2006" where participants learned about the educational program Tread Lightly! and raised money for the nonprofit. "HUMMER is a proud member of Tread Lightly! and we believe it's important to equip owners with the right information on how they can minimize their impact when recreating with their vehicles in the outdoors," said Martin Walsh, HUMMER's general manager.
