Engine: Stock 5.0 that came with her. It was well taken care of and I have changed many sensors, plus as always, an alternator, and it runs real good.
Drivetrain:
Notes: I traded my neighbor my boat for his 3" lifted bronco. He took good care of it. I'm no master mechanic, but I'm pretty good with cars - started with a 68 mustang, then a 72 and an 89. I took the 68 to a shop to do engine work, got the car back and the exhaust fell off on the way home. Got a book, started reading and never let someone I didn't know touch any of my cars ever again. Money is always tight, so to pay someone for something I can do doesn't make sense. As I do things to my Bronco, I'll take a bunch of pics, put them up here and spell it out for you. Hopefully you can save some $$ while making your ride nicer

New switch in column. Put the two screws in, plus the screw holding down the ground block. It's the little white block just to the left of the hazard switch. Tuck those wires over by the hazard switch in and make sure the switch is flush when you ...

The black sleve / sheild you pulled off the old set of wires...put it back on the new one. I assume since there are so many wires down there, this is necessary protection. Push it up as far as possible to give yourself room to put the wires back in...

I decided to do only half at a time, instead of pulling and yanking all down at once and risk damaging the wire. I thought the other half would have a hard time going down. But they didn't and it only took a few minutes.

Preparing the new wires for snaking down the column. I used some, I believe, 12 gauge wire. Wrap the ends good and tape up well with electrical tape.

What I want to show you here is not in the pic...You'll see a curved, red piece of plastic in the middle of the connector. That locks the wire inside. You take it out, the wires pull right out. You'll need like an eyeglass screw driver or somethin...

I also took a bunch of pics of the new one as well as not to screw up the order.

That's the connector at the end of the wires. How's that get back up the tight steering column the wires are snaked down? It doesent. You have to cut it off, no way around it. How does the new one go down the hole? It doesn't. You pull the wire...

1989 Ford Brono - Replace Water Pump.

First I smelled it, then I saw it....gear oil. See in the pic how my frame rail looks all nice and shiny and freshly painted....I didn't do that. The leaky oil seal on the passenger rear wheel did.

Not going to lie...replacing that $10 seal is...

New pump on and tightened. Torque on the water pump bolts said 12 to 18 ft/lbs, so I dialed in 15 on the torque wrench. Same goes for the fan bolts you see temporarly screwed into the spindle on the new pump. Take the little hose off before you pu...

Much better. Surface all clean and free of old gasket. New water pump came with the gasket, but check your box. Get it if it's not in there. Plus some RTV gasket. I ran some RTV around the edge of the new pump then dropped the gasket on. Then R...

TURN SIGNAL SWITCH / TILT WHEEL
My turn signal switch/tilt wheel broke a few months ago. The lever was real loose, I'd push back for the tilt and I could feel the play as the lever hit the tilt bar and would give way...the switch inside was loose or...
