Remove the intake hoses

remove and mark all the vacume lines if you cant remember where they go

Remove the ground straps from the rear of the manifold

Pull all the vacume lines and wire connections from the throttle body

Remove the throttle body...also take the bolts out of the EGR valve

Remove the throttle cable bracket

Then unbolt and remove the upper intake manifold

Cover the manifold so that nothing falls in

Next remove the valve cover...you may need to remove the spark plug wires in order to do this

Line up the rotor to the cylinder you want to work on.. then loosen the nut holding the rocker

Tighten the nut just enough to touch the pushrod so it wont move,

Check the pushrod, make sure the rocker is touching it

Then tighten the rocker 3/4 turn
