Rebuilt 1989 Ford 460 EFI (7.5L) by Blue Weber at Warlock Ltd in Charlotte, NC. This guy is 1 of 25 nationwide on the board at ASE that makes up the questions on the Machinists exam. He knows his stuff.
Bored .030 over, low RPM cam (466CI), in 2004.
Drivetrain:
New rebuilt C6 (2004)
New rebuilt electric BW1356 (2004)
Dana 44 IFS up front,
Corporate 14 bolt in back (2006)
Rear disk brakes (2006)
Notes:
3 core Modine radiator
Rear hangar swap and shackle flip
6 inch Rough Country suspension lift (Rob Ellis' old lift from his 1994 Bronc)
37X12.50R15 Super Swamper TSL's
Warn premium manual hubs
Bought in 1999 as my first vehicle when I was 17. First mod was lights, then rims/tires, then lift, then shackle flip.
Bought the motor with the understanding I would need a new transmission since mine was going out. Figured I'd get a big block C6 instead of another AOD. Got the new motor and transmission in and realized my transfer case was shot. Still made it another few hundred miles to the shop to get it rebuilt.
Caught on fire twice
Never really got to wheel it hard, hopefully I'll take it on a trail and really test it out soon.
Sentimental value: Priceless
