Zero decked 1968 390 CID block bored .030 for TRW forged pistons, balanced, typical oiling modifications including an 8 qt, Canton "T" pan . ARP fasteners throughout. Lunati 223/223 @ .050 cam with Harland Sharp rockers and BT billet stands. Edelbrock RPM heads, manifold and water pump. Demon 750 CFM vacuum secondary carburetor. FPA Tri-Y headers. MSD distributor and box. This really rumbles through full 3" exhaust.
Drivetrain:
Broader Performance wide ratio C-6 transmission. 3.5 rear end ratio. Runs mid to high13's in the 1/4 mile @ 100 mph. QA-1 adjustable shocks, and 4 wheel disc brakes have been adapted to improve handling and braking.
Notes:
All work (except upholstery) completed by owner and Budweiser over a 5 year period. It was built to drive, has been driven to car shows hundreds of miles away. Cruises beautifully and glides on the hi-way at what ever speed is needed.
