18-rightstuff.jpg Since I couldn't really seal the vent hole with the U-joint in place, I just made a bridge of sealant (Right Stuff) and it seems to be working. I prepped the area by rinsing thoroughly with carb cleaner and let the sealant cure for ~15min before starting the engine.

**UPDATE**
After ~2 years & who-knows-how-many miles (my odometer died), it's still sealed & working fine.
