ranchero-inertia-switch.jpg Battery mocked up behind the pass seat. The area circled is where I mounted the inertia switch. Some people suggested I mount it upright, as that is how Ford mounted it (and it is designed to work that way). However, I mounted mine sideways, and have had no problems thusfar.

The batt is grounded to where the seat bolts to the body. There are probably better areas to ground it to, but again, I haven't had any problems yet.
