04strikealiged.jpg The first step is to align the strike bolt so the door bends are perfectly aligned with the body bends when it's fully closed.  Striker bolt torque is 24-33lb-ft (33-45Nm).  Check vertical alignment against the body lines, and horizontal alignment between the surface of the door & the surface of the body (flushness). Front-to-back alignment (spacing) isn't critical at this point.
