how do i make my aod shift harder without a shift kit?

i want to kno how to make my tranny shift harder without installing a shift kit, will i have to make any changes to the valvebody?

Probably the easiest is to raise the Preasure, the short and eay way is to adjust the TB Cable next to the Throtle Body. The tighter it is the more Prease.. the harder/firmer the shifts. FYI this will also cause the vehicle to shift out of over drive sooner. or at lower speeds.
