91 Full size bronco, 5.8L engine. Could someone explain how to disconnect these connectors? I have the disconnect tool but I can not get them apart. Anyone? I slip the disconnect tool in and feel it push past the garter spring but the lines will not come apart. Tried a little WD but no luck.

BroncoDude,
I don't know how to get that fuel rail apart. I'll like to know as I may need to get it off myself.
I noticed you had the upper intake manifold off in the picture there. Just wondering what you were working on. I have a '91 351 myself and the lower intake manifold gasket has a leak I think, as it is leaking coolant. So, I've got my engine torn apart like you. My problem now is the distributor. I can't get the damn thing out! Any how you might look on this other site broncozone.com.

Here's the link to the thread I've been posting at:

I'll let you know if I run across anything.
