Make sure you push the opposite side of the u-joint out after you get one of the caps off.

Took a 5 pound sledge hammer, placed the base of the ears on a block of wood, and hit the u-joint.

Took a 5 pound sledge hammer, placed the base of the ears on a block of wood, and hit the u-joint.
It came right out after 2 hits.
