3096478_90_full.jpg 10-10-08: Today I finally got a chance to start to weld the plates to the inner rockers. I started by cleaning the back of the plates and then sprayed them with weld thru primer. Then I started welding in the driverside plate. I had some issues. I already had a bunch of welds on the bottom and I decided it would be a good idea to hammer the bottom flange of the inner rocker up and around the plate. weld the welds that were already there caused it to become very lumpy. I'm trying to decide if I want to mess with trying to smooth it out some or just leave it. The passenger side went much smoother. I clamped the plate in place then hammered the lower rocker lip up over the plate. Then I did the welding. It looks much better.

I still have some welding to do, but atleast it's a start.
