Today I dug out the F600 front fenders and all the other front clip parts I'll be using. After I got all the parts dug out I started bolting the parts on.
I started out bolting the back side of each fender to the cab while the front of the fenders were supported by a jack stand. Next I bolted in the hood latch panel. Then I bolted in the air deflectors and radiator mount as an assembly. The air deflectors are sitting right on the top of the frame. This means the cab is going to need to sit even higher. It was also pretty obvious just by looking at the front fenders that the cab would have to be moved farther forward. I did some measureing and it looks like I will be raising the cab 2" higher ( and leveling it ). And I will be moving it 2" forward. My firewal recess is going to be tight but I think it will work. The cab be lifted a little more is going to give me a little more clearance. Oh yea I also sat the 56 F250 hood.
