54-build--41610-067.jpg I didn't think I'd be able to bolt on the front valance because I knew the front frame rails were wider apart then the 54's. But I thought I'd give it try. And what do you know the front frame horns tucked nicely behind the front valance. This was a nice surprise in one way and means more work in another way. I thought for sure I would have to modify the front valance openings because of the wider frame. But since the frame is shorter in front I won't have to. But I am going to have to figure out a way to make some strong front frame extensions to mount the front bumper and support the weight of the entire front clip when I tilt it open ( the hinges I'm using have the pivot points in front of the front valance ) . I think I'm going to use some thick wall 2"x4" steel tubing to extend the front frame. Then I'll just add a sleeve on each for the tilt front pivot points.
