img_4512.jpg Here is the cupholder and lid mounted. The lid took the longest. I joined two pieces of 1X8 pine with a Kreg Jig and then cut it down to size on my mitre saw. I have a table saw, but did not have a finish blade. This takes a lot of sanding to get it to fit just right. I actually overcut the first try and had to do it again. Get it as a tight fit. I used the original hinge and mortised a spot on the lid so it would lay flush (with a dremel and chisel - take your time). You could easily stop here and it would be very nice. I wanted an armrest and a hidden/lockable compartment.
