bought my y2k p71 in 2010, i drove it for 6 days and the motor blew up so i dropped a grand (not bad) on a new/used p71 motor with 35k miles on it. | 1,000.00 | | 20003 | Damage | 40 | replaced p71 ecm
after replacing motor in july the ecm fried. i took it to extreme auto in stl and they tried charging me 800 for replacement ecm and installation! i had my car towed to colt cop cars on bates street in central west end stl and the super nice guy who owns the place gave me a brand spankin p71 tuned ecm and installed it for 100 bucks. cant beat that and it hasnt gave me troube ever since | 100.00 | | Total | 1,900.00 |
