Early mounting location for the Cobra 75 WX ST handset. I later moved it into the panel directly above where it's mounted in this photo. Audio output was much improved, and it was easier to get at the controls while driving.

Detail showing location of splice for power to the transmitter. I chose to splice in to the 12V power connector rather than the cigarette lighter as I wanted to be able to use the radio with the engine switched off if necessary.
