I'm needed to start collecting parts/supplys for my axle swap, and was hoping ya'll could contribute as to what all ya'll think I'd need. I would appreciate any and all input.

Are you going with leafs up front?? I have alot ubolts and spring plates etc.. Also, like Josh said conversion ujoint for the rear , the front should be 1310 but the rear will definitely be 1350. I got a rear conversion joint from NAPA for 33.00 in stock.

Also, make sure that the axles are completely rebuilt ...all seals ujoints and bearings/races checked or replaced to save you the hassle later on. Also, you might need a new brake line for thet rear since it has disc brakes but Josh would know about that...

When are you planning on doing the swap??

Yes, Jeff, you are correct. I emailed a guy who's already done the swap. This is what I got:

Need to find machine shop to bore out cast C-bush mounts off 78/79 D44 or get pre-78 wedges off a D44. See my dana 60 swap article on project bronco web site. 14 bolt just needs new perches, relocate shcok mounts and get 1350/1330 X-over U-joint or get 1350 driveshaft. Any other specific questions, just ask.

This is French to me. Can anyone translate for me?

Find a D44 pre 78 from a ford and you have what you need or get some talented guy named "chris?" who lives a few houses down from wildman to bore out the cast iron C-bushing mounts off your existing d44

Look out i'm cool and have a website

The 14 bolt just needs to have the spring perches relocated like Josh had to do 20 times, lee still needs to do, and jeff did once, or buy new ones if you can't figure out how to cut the old ones off...did i mention josh has become quite good at cutting welds.... then buy a common conversion u-joint so your driveshaft will work with this axle, its way beefier than a 9" and needs a beefier u-joint

B/c you have lots of money to spend and want to get the shaft
