Jessie's really stoked to do the 4x4 conversion on her exploder. Hopefully we can do the job soon. I'm going to start collecting parts.

Add me to the list of trail carnage, or lest say a result of my one day of wheeling.
I have a blown rear main seal and its all of my oil that leaked out on I 10.

IM gonna do it myself because the going rate for a repair shop is $400! All for a $20 part

Anyways, im glad I got a trip in with yall, had a great time and glad to meet some new faces!

Thanks for the offer. I was reading a write up on it at jeepin.com, looks like there is nothing to remove or really jack up other than the jeep since its low and im fat, but no unbolting the exhaust or dropping the trans or removing the motor mounts, just drop the pan and get really oily. But thats a write up and I have really bad luck(charlie Brown style) with these things, so we will see!

Carl suggested that I replcae the oil pump with a high volume one like he did, think its a good idea. Just wish I didnt change the oil last week, 6 quarts down the drain, weill down the interstate really

Eddie.. Are you sure you have to drop the tranny to change the rear main... I thought all the Jeeps had 2 piece rear main seals.. I guess I could be confused that all dodge V8's and not all Jeeps... Hit me with a link to that write up.. and I am still waiting on the torn apart engine pics...
