i just got some info on this trail, and it seems like it may be a good place to make a ride. Its located in columbia, louisiana and the trail runs throughout a hunting club.It is said to be about 20 miles long and is supose to be a real challenge as far as hills and mud go.I'm still waiting on some more info to make sure this is all legal, and to make sure the land owners are OK with this. |

| Quote: | cool man get the scoop on it, is that any closer than red creek.... | depends on which columbia (yes there are 2 columbia's in louisiana). there's one on the opposite side of the river from Reserve/Lutcher, and there's one about 50 miles south of Monroe on Hwy 165.

Looks like the quickest way would be 49 to 165 .. Unless someone knows another way to hit 165..
Does 1 go near Baton Rouge ?? ANyone have an Atlas.. I am just assuming that he is talking about that Columbia and not the one near Edgard because he said it had HILLS and we all know there are no hills in south La. Bigger than that built by a crawfish..
Eat , Drink, Mud... What else is there?

1 runs right through east baton rouge
I believe you are right carl about columbia up near monroe, I think its in TENSAS parish which is hunting central, my sister's boy friend has a lease up there as well...Its a longer drive than red creek if you take 49 up to 167 to 35 yadda yadda yadda....all farm, and forestry land up there

Yes it is the columbia south of monroe.I believe the best route would be to take 61 to natchez then 84 to tullos which is about 20miles south of columbia on 165.It is 2 and a half hours from baton rouge to dry prong which is just south of columbia so it would probaly take around 3 hours to get there. |
