Origianal setup about to be removed due to hole in tranny cooler. Note oil filter setup. The hot fluid from the tranny goes into the oil filter first, then to the bottom of the cooler and back to the tranny. The oil filter assembly removes a ton of heat as well as junk.

Old tranny cooler removed, note custom bracket made out of 1/8" x 1 1/2" aluminum to mount the cooler to. Small cooler on right is for power steering fluid.

New cooler installed onto aluminum bracket, biggest tranny cooler Hayden makes. Being held in place by cable ties while I install. The oil filter is installed again at this point.

Detail of how I adapted the tranny cooler lines from the tranny. I used 5/16" flare fitting to 5/16" to 1/4" male fitting. Then a 1/4" to 3/8" hose barb. This line goes to the filter first then to the bottom of the tranny cooler. Then from the top of the cooler to the tranny.
