Bob Kennedy was kind enough to
show me how the BIG DAWGS
do suspension lifts.
IN THE FRONT YARD
First order of business
Disconnect the ABS from the wheel
wells and secure them around the
front disc's
Make sure you secure the frame on
jack stands prior to removing the TTB
This will be covered more later
This was my first WTF with ProComp
The bushing had collapsed and
broke the eye of the shock.
I was running on the axle and the
bump stop, The TTB had a shiny spot where the bump stop rubbed it
to the steel.
Bob pulling out the TTB to put on the new radius arms
Radius arm ready to come off.
Notice where the bump stop
was hitting
Puttin some arse behind it.
Ready for the new arms to go in
Rivets. Grindin on rivets.
8 I think.
This pic is very blurry but is important.
This is a rivet that Bob believed was the
first alignment for the Engine mount bracket, the piviot arm bracket and the crossmember. It was notched in three differant directions and took us the good part of an hour to remove. We had to drill it then use a long 1 foot punch to finally get it out. We had to beat to shiet out of it.
First issue with the lift fabrication was that we had to notch the drivers side pivot arm drop bracket because a engine mount bracket rivet wouldn't allow it to flush up to the crossmember.
Grinding on the new bracket had me wondering what else was in store.
Both brackets in.
Second bracket was a lot easier.
Takin some time out to play some Lawn Darts. The only thing ProCopm is good for.

Front is back under, Dinner time

Right radius arm on the stock hanger
Skyjacker needs to change this.
This is how the rear end looked prior to putting in the rear leafs.
We should have secured my rig on the frame but just didn't have the equipment at hand. As Bob was reafing on one, I lifted
the weight off the axle with a Highlift jack.
It was working great until I lifted the jack when Bob said we needed to lower it.
Carnage.
The Highlift tilted the rig off the jack stands
right onto the rear drums.
I nearly cryed, But when I breathed for a minute I took lots of DON'T DO THIS
pictures
We spent the rest of the day jumping at every sound and resecuring everything
This could have been worse.
It only punchured the shield
and dented the tank
Old spring perch comin out.
The pics got put on hold cause we wanted to get done so this was the last of the lift process.
Show off pics comming soon

The BLACKHORSE is lookin big now.
