Took this picture to remember where the distributor was set at. There's my new TFI module also.

The gasket was almost nonexistent on the front of the motor!

YUK! More of that black junk in the intake passages on the head.

All cleaned up! Looks much better.

Clean valve covers with new gaskets.

Lower intake all spiffed up and ready to go back in.

If you look close you can see that I put the thermostat in backwards. This really caused me grief. The truck overheated and I thought I would have to tear it all down again!

All done! Took 13 1/2 hours from start to finish. Truck fired up on the first try.
