This is what I am going to use to make a new drop hitch to go with the new rear bumper

First piece cut, clamped in the receiver so I can drill the hole for the pin
|

Here I am eyeballing the next piece to get it straight before I weld it
|
|
|
Close up, I beveled the miter for maximum penetration of the weld. I also preheated it with a propane torch
|
|
|
After welding the mitered joint, I added a gusset for strength
|
|
|
Had to make some 3/4" material for the bottom
