The frame after removing the TTB upper spring bucket and shocks
Marking the hole to mount a 78/79 lower spring perch
A little drill press action
This is the TTB lower spring mount after some cutting and grinding. This was used to support the 78/79 spring perch
The engine cross member was in the way on the drivers side so I put 3 bolts where I could and button welded the rest of the empty holes to the frame.
I used an F250 shock hanger for a new shock mount
New spring perch ready for a spring

Here comes my new fancy, made by Deaver, Superflex 78/79 6" lift springs. I chose these in preperation for an SAS in the future.
Mounted and lookin sweet!
New Bilstein shocks. My extended brake lines are stretched to the limit. I also can bottom the shock out with a little pressure. As the tire is heavy I will need limiting straps.
I moved the spring bucket forward approximately 1" in preperation for an SAS
With the springs installed as shipped I had 10" of lift!!!
It might be hard to get out of the garage like this
The cool thing about these springs is you can make adjustments if necessary
Turned out far better than I had pictured!
I mounted the limiting straps in between the shock mounts
I have a full 10" of droop with the limiting straps installed! Not too bad for a TTB!
