							| Hello, everyone;
 After putting gas in my 2000 Crown Victoria (it has 243,000 miles on it) I made a sharp right turn and the motor stalled. It tried to turn over but the motor acted as if it were out of gas. I had it towed to a reliable repair shop as it was closing for the night before realizing that perhaps I should have checked the fuel pump fuse in the fuse box near the battery under the hood. I have a question for everyone: "What normally fails first, the $140.00 fuel pump inthe gas tank or the $1.20 fuse?"

							| one thing you can do is pull your old fuel pump and hook a 9 volt battery to it and try pumping gas out of a can. if nothing happens then you have a bad pump. | |

							| Did you try to reset the fuel pump cutoff switch in the trunk?If you had some sort of impact it can shut off. | |
