The factory regulator was still fine, but I decided to 'upgrade' to an aftermarket unit so I could adjust the fpsi

I went with the Kirban AFPR after reading reviews on the Mustang boards of the Aeromotive or BBK units.
I also like that it wasn't quite as bulky or flashy color.


The Kirban comes in a little zip lock bag with the instruction sheet. Little weird, but seems like a nice part!

A nice feature about the Kirban regulator is the pressure adjustment is separate from the vac line

I did like the extra 1/8" NPT port on the Aeromotive, though...

Installed.


I made a new vacuum line using an extra OEM nylon line from a factory vac harness. I used a heat gun to mold it to the bends needed. Wanted to keep red color so it matches vac diagram, but oh well. Seems to fit real nice!



The engine bay could use a cleaning again, stay tuned!
