After some work with the dremel from the BACK SIDE, I made a square opening for the fuel door release solenoid to slide through. I used some self-tapping screws into the platic to secure it.

You will need to remove the fuel cap to fit it in/out. I...

Pinouts, looking at back of cluster. The wire that you must change is circled. Remove the center plastic (red on mine) of the connector and push the pin out the back of the plug and relocate one hole down.
