Like many 1993-1998 Mark VIII owners have experienced, wrinkled rear window seals is a common issue.

Most just live with it, but many who know me know that I can't stand things like this. So I came up with an easy solution to solve it.

I installed a new set of chrome emblems to replace the aftermarket gold plated ones.

I also monochromed my trunk lock cover to match the trim - it was also gold before.

The front wheel wells on my Mark were looking pretty rough. They had some type of permanent discoloration and staining - perhaps from a run-in with road line paint lol.


So, I decided to spray them with Krylon Fusion gloss black, after scrubbing ...

After!

I used candy apple red (transparent) paint on the backside with the shiny chrome behind to achieve the same pearlescent look as the stock red emblem.

It didn't come out anywhere perfect, but it's still MUCH better looking than before.
