Not an LSE, but the closest model I could find to one. Made by IXO, for the Mexico market, where the Grand Marquis is a Ford! The trunk blue oval (instead of the Mercury waterfall M,) is the only difference from the American version. this is a precision die cast model in 1/43rd scale. (notice the 2 tone mirrors, black "B" pillar, and lacy spoke rims) My neighbor has one in this very color! It has the Mercury waterfall M in the grille! Based on the side cladding and the Lacy Spoke rims, this would be an LX with the HPP option... Inside, the split bench seats have their arm rests down, so it is not an LSE, which in any event didn't show up until 2001.

Although this is titled a "Ford" Grand Marquis, and has the Ford name on the trunk, the grille has the Mercury Waterfall M! This was a Mexico only version.

Just found this today 8/30/20 while waxing the car. It must have happened in a parking lot some time.
