| Notes: |
All repairs were done during the summer of 2002 Rebuilt 304 ---------- *All Bearings *New Cam/Lifters *New Rings *Rebuilt /Clearanced Oil Pump *Distributer *4 barrel adapter with a 600 CFM Edelbrock *Obvious stuff, belts, alt, blah blah, runs perfect, no missing, smoke etc * I put about $1,500 into the engine Rebuilt T727 Tranny--------- *New Clutches *New Bands *All seals, springs, etc *New Bushings/Bearings *Stock Torque Converter *Shift kit *Very strong tranny *Approx $700 in parts into the tranny (note* The shifter cable broke before I moved, I installed a B&M cable which works , however, it needs adjustment to go into first gear, sorry ) Sheetmetal--------- *I would rate the sheetmetal about 6 out of 10. The GOOD news is there is not any rust on the floorboards, front or rear. *The window frame is bad, however I have a perfect replacement that goes with it. *Front left fender has fresh dents, my bad...Could be pounded out, fresh tree rubbage *Pass front is great *Hood is near perfection *Doors are about 8 out of 10, no rust *Rear Quarterpanels are fair,a little through in the front of the wheel-whell Ok behind. *Tailgate sucks....... Top raingutter is pissed, but ok *The orange paint DEFINETLY sucks! Interior------- *Deluxe Interior *A/C needs Compressor *Cd Player *No tears in Bench Seats *Original Floor coverings *Floors coated with Por-15 rust inhibitor Alxes--------- Front Dana 30 *New Ujoints *Needs one new drum, OR just a d44! *Rebuilt front driveline *entire frame and axles Coated with Hammerite Rear Dana 44------ *New brakes *Rebuilt driveline The 4wd works flawless, no probs. Tcase is solid, no leaks in front, tcase, or rear... I am currently in Minnesota, the Scout is still in Washington. I WAS planning on bringing it down here next month, however I am going to need some serious cash for closing costs on my NEW HOME! Good news, bad news. I put about $3,500 into the Scout during the summer, and never got it to the point I wanted, now I have no ambition to finish it I had planned on a d44 front and a springover, but now, I dunno... I need to sell it.... I know I wont get even CLOSE to what I want, so I am going to ask for $1,400 cash... Done deal..... Call me & home this weekend if you want to ask any Questions, I will be here. 1(21 751-2673 I do not have a bunch of pictures, I will look for some after I post this. I was going to put it on eBay, but I decieded the real Scout fans are here, and the BB.So, Ill just give this a try.... Thanks, Chad |
