I'm an IS Director & Project Manager for a film/tv production company & emerging media company that has locations in Minneapolis, MN and Burbank, CA. I'm more involved with the "emerging media" company -- we design/develop/author DVDs, CD-ROMs, and web sites typically for promotional/marketing/sales departments for a variety of companies. I project manage these types of projects and provide the technical guidance on any new project that comes in the door.

What do the rest of you do for a living?

How about dis-arming bombs? Seriously.

I'm an EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) Technician in the Air Force. We dis-arm and render safe any explosive type item from grenades to bombs to terrorist devices and even nukes. Lots of fun, lots of and we're all like family because we have to trust the people we work with.

I used to be a crew chief (head mechanic) on a C-17 cargo plane but got tired of that. Been in the AF 10 years and been doing EOD for 6 of those.

Anyone else wanna share?

I'm "Mr. Mom". My wife works and I stay home with our three kids ages 4, 2, and three months. Hardest job I've ever had. Lots of poop! Before this I was a X-ray tech.

My X carries everything needed on a daily basis for three small children to survive and flourish. The floor is littered with all manner of finger food and small toys. I love it. My only regret is that I did not get a diesel, but it is not a major deal. It beats a mini-van all to pieces.

Oh yeah, by the way Rick...kudos to you...not an easy thing. And the Ex definitely beats the minivan we used to have
