I am a independant business owner. Company is called the Flagship Group and we build very detailed, very specific web-based franchises.

Checked out the link to your site in your profile. Out of curiosity, what types of web-based franchises? Any particular industry?

I'm a licensed, bonded insured roofing contractor.

Owner operator doing pitched roofing for two builders (50 homes a year) and do about 10 tear offs a year.

Been roofing for 10 years and my father has 30 years into it and he still roofs!

Roofing is ok but when winter comes in MN it really gets tough. Tear off season ends but the builders keep building.

Had a mid life crisis about two years ago. Went from the banking industry, specializing in tax- exempt bond financing for the education market to...Cummins diesel technician. My wife, family and friends, and the bank account, still haven't recovered. I grew up working on a dairy farm and always enjoyed getting my hands into something dirty, if you know what I mean. I'm thinking that someday I want to own my own light duty diesel performance shop. With the increased interest that the U.S. consumer has in diesel powered vehicles, plus the growth in the RV industry, there just might be enough full time work for me. However, need to get my "wings" first.

My wife, five children (18, 16, 15, 15 and 12), and two Bernese Mountain dogs love to camp. I've grown up on Suburbans, the latest a highly modded 6.5TD. Then I went to an F250 SD crew cab, long bed (just wasn't practical) for a very short time and now the Excursion. Gearing up for some mods to tow our 34' Keystone Cougar TT.
