Some have even started the DSB because of the increase in noise....
The 6.0 was so quiet at idle, I never had to shut down and drive thru's until recently - now it's off all the time just like my '02 7.3L if I want to hear....

Had to laugh at that comment...it seems so normal to have to do this but every time a person is riding with me having never experienced "the joys of a diesel" before, they can't believe I have to shut off the PSD to hear the person on the drive-through speaker. I can barely hear them anyway. I always make sure to stay several feet back from the people in front of me. Can't stand it when some guy that thinks he's cool gets right up on my ass at the drivethrough and makes it impossible for me to hear my order. Wish all the places had those face-to-face drivethroughs like McDonald's has.
