His workmenship and design is X-cellent. Should take just over an hour to install.

Thanks, Mongo! An hour to install??? I've installed several, and still can't get the time under two hours. What's your secret?

I don`t jack up the X and put her on stands, I don`t take of the wheels, I also used a 4-1/2" Hi-speed cutoff wheel and used a fire blanket to protect the wheels and tires.

Not taking jacking up, putting on stands and removing, reinstalling the tires and tighting the lugs to 165lbs saves me 45min to and hour .

Right now, there's no waiting-to-be-contacted list. Everyone that was on the contact list has been sent an e-mail. Just send me an e-mail (click on my username). I start production this week, and hope to have this batch wrapped up by mid-June for my next "break."

Hey CoolStrategist, when You get them will have to do them on a Sat. Sundays are out. Fair season opens late May thru Oct( My wife and I are Ren geeks), Hope its not a Problem.

We could also install them during the week, after 5, if Sat.`s are no good.

I will work within your schedule Mongo. Not a problem. Let's stay in touch.

By the way...let me know if any of those fairs are within a decent distance from me (NW suburbs of Chi). I know there is a Ren festival off of 94 towards Milwaukee past Great America but always like new family fun.

Sorry for the brief detour guys...

All good things must come to an end ... well, at least put on hold for awhile. I just updated the "Sponsor Topic" post to say I will not be accepting deposits after 05/31/05. At this time, I'm guesstimating I'll start the next batch sometime near September.

Someone telephoned me a few weeks back to discuss the radius-rods. That's nothing special in itself, but this fellow told me had rigged up a camcorder and videotaped the rear axle doing its axle-wrap "dance." I asked if he could e-mail the footage, but he said he had no way of digitizing the tape. I can't recall who it was that called, but I'd really like to see that footage.

I can digitize it if you get a hold of it.
