I would love to have the old Bronco style tailgate or at least a rear window that would roll down. ( for the dog)

Oh... and I meant 18" wheels. Like the ones that are available on the Harley Davidson Super Duty.

YES! Monsta!
That's a great list!
I was about to list out my dream sheet of ideas, but yours nailed it!
My big ones would be longer arm rests, improved interior quality and feel, actual front suspension travel, and improved ride quality (eliminating a TWO leaf spring setup in place of a 6 or 8 spring pack!), and MOVE THE 2nd ROW SEAT BACK!!!!! My gosh, the X's are half a block long, but the 2nd row seat is halfway up the door opening! well, thats it for now.

Hi, I am brand new to this site and the proud new owner of an 04 Excursion Eddie Bauer 6.0L diesel...It'll be a week tomorrow...In response to the question, what would you change, Well...for the price, you should be able to order any of the colors offered. I wanted the Dark Toreador Red which is available on the F350, but I could only get the Toreador Red. So Ebony is her color...and she is beautiful. Second, I think they should be about 2 feet longer, and third, you should have choices on the Sound systems. Other than that, I am in love and on my way to converting the other ladies in the office to buy trucks.

How about a heavy duty tranny with a real torque converter. With today's technology and the known power that the PSD puts out, there should be something that will go 200K before detonating. Also, while your at it, design the cooling system large enough so that an additional tranny cooler is not needed.

A console that actually has some thought put in it for storing what people in the 21st century have. Things like pens, cell phones, parking garage passes, etc.. The huge box bolted to the floor isn't really getting it for me. Same with the bins on the doors, need a lot more thought.

HEAVY DUTY GREASABLE BALL JOINTS THAT ARE RATED AT LEAST TWICE WHAT IS CURRENTLY INSTALLED!!!!! You know, something out of a TEREX earth mover.

Lastly, instead of a blocker beam, lets have a true cow catcher off of an 1900's steam engine to ram up the stern of the idiots and whacko environmental extremeists who think the best vehicle ever built should not exist or that you should not have one, much less drive it!

My dream list

better brake rotors (the brakes are ok just the rotors are weak)

fix the axle wrap problem

heavy duty ball joints that you can grease

grease zirks on the slip yoke of the drive shaft

poly on the suspension parts and better rubber on the body mounts

a better limited slip

a stronger tranny and torque converter

a 3rd row seat that folds down into the floor (like those mini vans) so I dont give myself a hernia everytime I take it out.

The rear triple dutch door sucks - it was almost a reason not to buy it. You have to open up 3 doors for access, you have to walk around the door - easily the hot set up is to have one door that pivots upwards - duh....

Personally I like the tri doors....however, I had a family member close the door out of order(left door, top door then right door) and smashed the upper glass. This was a $1600.00(cdn) fix! Insurance covered it but....dam!
