Never have had a leak !!!
knock on head

and I've checked given all the scary stuff I've heard...

Too Bad about passing on the predator...
you know you have a 30 day return policy if u get one from Motorhaven?? Try it out...

but you're probably smart NOT to try it because you WOULD NOT GIVE IT UP

It makesthat much of a difference in the truck...
and on the +65 HP setting you can say "I'm doing this to save fuel"
and it's true ---- and a blast with the improved throttle response...

I don't get a dime for this...
just the satisfaction of knowing I turned someone else onto a great product...
just like the $325 turbo back kit I found -
and the hellwig rear sway bar -
and the 65w replacement lamps...
I don't mention the things that haven't worked for me... just suffer in silence
but really haven't missed on any cuz I research them b4 I try them...

even the zoodad mod has worked on two of my Ex's without any issues...

2005 6.0L 4x4 Eddie Bauer Ex
2003 6.0L 4x4 Limited Ex - traded in (BooHoo)

I hear ya! I would love to have the programmer installed.....but right now I have my truck in the shop every second week for work. This week it was not a oil leak( like a thought it was) it was the power steering box leaking. I'm starting to think my truck is a lemon. If they keep on replacing stuff at this rate I will be able to call it a 2004 Excursion . I'm happy to hear your having a great time with your beast, enjoy!

I hate when sport cars fly up and sit on my bumper. I had a toyota do that to me the other month....it was a bit icy and I was stopped at the red light and she was not....needless to say I drove away with not even a scratch. She must of had aleast $1000 plus in front bumper PLASTIC work to be done. She felt really bad for hitting me ....I thought it was funny because I watched her in my rear view mirror....she flew up and then disssappeared for a second then "thump" and she reappeared. Her car bounced off the X and landed about 3 feet back, didn't move the X one inch. I'm not proud of it...but it did put a smile on my face.

I had a nasty experience while backing up in a parking lot. seems the rear corners of the ex are a very solid place to hit.

The toyota had a mushed up gas cap door, fender. I looked and found absolutly no evidence on the ex to show that I had hit the Toyota. (1 or 2 mph) No dirt, paint or anything.

The collision center also could not find any evidence. Anyways, I emphaticaly denied having hit her on the grounds of no evidence.

I have since changed my tune a bit. The left hand side of the rear end is VERY deceptive and requires a check in the side mirror to be sure of actual distance from an object and I have since been extraordinarily carefull in this regard while backing up.

This is perhaps nothing new, but it was new to me. I've been driving my ex for 4 years now and I only just recently discovered this.

I am waiting for someone to plant their grille on my three ball trailer hitch. Should be some interesting art work to peruse afterwards.

Dave.
