I am thinking of upgrading to the superduty v code springs....I have a couple questions that I am sure this highly skilled and intelligent group will be willing to bear with me and answer.

I want to update with new shocks and rear anti-sway bar. I have 51K on my 2000 limited X v10. The new tires have given me the bug to try to maximize my ride out. I find that the ride is a little to close to the ride of my mom's '72 pontiac station wagon with the wood paneled sides. I want it tightened up a bit.

If I go with the V code springs, what will the difference in new height of the truck?? Can I get new shock now and use them with the new springs or should I wait and do it all at the same time??? Same goes for the sway bar, now or later???? Finally, where is the best place to go for the springs?????

Marty I don't have an answer to your question, but I am getting ready to purchase my first X and was wondering the same thing. I like the "tighter" ride of the Super Duties and was wondering if/how I could duplicate this on the X.

If you get an answer please pass it along.

Somebody out there must know!

Marty I have V codes on now and getting ready to replace them with X codes. I got almost 2 inches and used the stock size shocks(Rancho 9000X). I love the improved ride and handling but want the X codes and a Edge 2 in mini spring pack up front and a add a leaf in the rear with the 4 in block and Landyots radius bars. I will go with a 315/75/16 with the 16x8 wheel. My V codes will be for sale soon, 2003 v codes with abut 10,000 miles on them.

I have a 2002 Ford Excursion Limited V10. I have "C" code leaf springs in the front and "G" code leaf springs in the back. I would like to change these out and get between 1"-2" of lift. I would like it to be "even" (Same lift for both front and back). My ride now is very level. I noticed the nice specs on the front leaf springs, anyone have specs on the rea leaf springs?? What code leaf springs would give me the 1" - 2" lift??

Thanks

Ray

Get a add a leaf for the rear springs. V codes in front and a extra leaf in the rear and a 2 inch higher and level ride.
