Has anyone seen or done this mod on this forum?I am considering running these type of wheels, maybe even 22.5" floats?Their is a excursion I have seen with these and they look awesome! |

BTW- those are 22.5s on the X I posted. I actually don't recall ever seeing 24.5s on one. It would be interesting, I suppose. By the time you are into the tires, wheels, adapters, and then the lift you'll need to run them and whatnot, it can add up to quite a bit, that is for sure.

Bling bling, for sure. I was in a Firestone store a couple summers ago and saw a 26" wheel/tire package for $9,000. Not offroad tires by any means, but man, that is a lot of money to make your vehicle ride rough and limit wheel travel. Doubt many guys are chopping their fenders to accomodate 26's. I'd rather put $9,000 into engine/tranny mods.

Well, the red one above is (supposedly) 12". I've been told that you can get away with less lift, maybe with smaller floats? I'm not sure how that works, but the shop link I put up there would probably have further info.
